Funding Resources Website

Transportation infrastructure is a critical resource to the State of North Carolina in providing greater mobility and a higher quality of life. Transportation is also essential to the commerce and the provision of goods and services throughout the state. However, local officials as well as the public sometime find transportation funding opportunities difficult to identify. This website has been designed to assist individuals to identify current transportation funding methods, in a centralized location.

New sources and methods of funding are necessary to meet the growing needs for transportation in North Carolina. With an approximate $65 billion deficit in transportation funding over the next 30 years, we need to know the most efficient ways of identifying funds for all types of transportation projects.
